The Malones in Thailand

I’ve created a site to document our trip to Thailand this December/January. It’s at http://www.malones.id.au/thailand/. Feel free to head over there to find out about us, why we’re going, and what we’ll be doing there. Once we’re there, we’ll all be regularly blogging and uploading photos onto that site.

Lycos releases “spam fighting” screensaver

Lycos in Europe have developed a screensaver that can help bring down spammers. When your computer is idle, it sends out requests to websites known to be promoted in spam messages, with the hopes of substantially increasing the spammer’s bandwidth bills.

New camera

I purchased a brand new camera a couple of days ago – the Canon PowerShot A75. It was a replacement for my Canon PowerShot A60, which was damaged either from taking a photo of me (something inside it must have cracked), or from dropping it on concrete.
I bought it from Dick Smith Electronics, for AU$348 [...]

Almost there

I’ve spent the last few hours getting the site ready. Making sure the blogging system and the photo gallery work (with all my crazy modifications) took the longest.
But now, it’s almost ready to go. I just have to move over all the guitar chords from my old site, and write a few things to go [...]

What’s going on??

I’m redesigning my website, that’s what.
