Soul Survivor April Conference

On Sunday, I arrived home from the annual Soul Survivor NSW April gathering.

Along with eight friends from TUC, I spent last week camping at St Ives Showground, in Sydney, for the conference. Each day we had two main meetings, one at 11am and 7pm, and there were seminars, activities, and entertainment scattered throughout the days and evenings.

It was a great week – to say the least! I brought a number of things home with me, and a new direction for my life came out of the week. God revealed himself more to me, and helped me to make a decision I’d being struggling with for the last couple of months. Rather than continuing on with my business, and aiming to grow it, I’ll now be leaving it to work instead with youth.

Nothing is certain yet, and I still have a lot of God’s will to seek. But I know that I’ve done the right thing, and as a result I now feel more free – and looking forward to what will happen.

The rest of the week was great as well. Each night, more people came to Christ, and I’m sure many others also received new meaning and direction to their lives.

If you went to the Soul Survivor conference as well, feel free to post a comment to let me (and others) know about what you came home with from it. :)

  1. Bless you Tim. There is nothing quite like resolving issues that have caused us to struggle. I would love to hear more, as you get a clearer picture of where you see God leading you in this.

You have been blessed with many rich gifts, including the skills that you have applied in your business. Don’t lose sight of the way in which God may use this, whether to support you in ministry (as Paul in tentmaking) or as a tool of ministry.

    Cheers

  2. Good on ya buddy. Always remember what we have discussed before …. go for the heights and fix your eyes on the ultimate goal. I’m proud of what God has done through you thus far and know that He will do more – this is my DAILY prayer for you :-)
