More videos…

A couple more videos for your viewing pleasure.

This first one is another one of our old family videos, newly digitised. I used this as part of the video for Karis’s early 18th party recently. On the left is me, Karis is in the centre, and Matt’s at the right (too young to really know what to do).

This second one was filmed, edited and produced by me and Matt yesterday, and it’s another go at stop motion. This time, The Australian is trying to get into the house, has a small altercation with the Australian Financial Review first, but then makes it in and does its own Sudoku puzzle.

I think though that we need a better video editing program, and a computer with more grunt. This was done on Windows Movie Maker on a Pentium D 2.8Ghz with 1 GB of RAM. I’m thinking of getting a Mac with Final Cut Pro…. anyway, the low end editing gear is evidenced by the fact that a couple of frames get missed – most notably when the newspapers are fighting, and the Fin Review is kicked out of the way.

Stop motion videos are fun, because they work out very well and don’t require too much thinking, just a lot of time to shoot and edit. There are more on the way!
