For some reason I am very against doing my tax. Someone needs to make me do it this weekend – please!

You mean you haven’t done it???

You do realise it was supposed to be in by the end of October don’t you?

Perhaps the tax commissioner coming around to your house and waving his book of penalties at you would be enough to make you do your tax.

Not that I can talk, I put off doing it until the very last moment…I like E-Tax’s estimated refund though.

Nope, I haven’t done it. I tried to sit down and do it on Wednesday night, with a few hours to go, but…. heh, I was too tired (or I just hate tax).

I believe there’s a ‘de facto’ grace period of seven days. Which is why I really should do it this weekend.

Last year I was later than the grace period, and I got a letter saying something along the lines of “because you have a good record, we won’t fine you”. That doesn’t give me much hope if I miss the grace period this time.
