Merry Christmas (*conditions apply)

I wanted to start it this year but it is so difficult in the current climate to know exactly what to say without offending someone. So I met with my solicitor yesterday, and on his advice, say the following:
Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, [...]

CeBIT Sydney 2007

I’m off to CeBIT in Sydney this week – work is sending me up there with several others.
We’ll be exhibiting at a stand in the E-Commerce and E-Finance area, so keep an eye out for us with our free chupa-chups!
Depending on what happens, I may have some photos and other information to share here.

Soul Survivor conference 2007

I’m looking forward to the Soul Survivor Conference this year – only a few weeks away!
The annual Soul Survivor conference happens every April, during school holidays, in Sydney. It’s a week of teaching and worship, and going there each year gives me a week of unwinding, forgetting about work and the rest of life – [...]

NRL tipping results

Well, seems I did ok – 4 points for this week.
As I said in my previous post, I’m not overly serious about this. Matt knows how I work out my tips. Can anyone else pick it?
My tips for round three:

Broncos v Panthers
Eels v Wests Tigers
Dragons v Cowboys
Sharks v Rabbitohs
Storm v Warriors
Bulldogs v Titans
Roosters [...]

Alive

I know I haven’t posted for a very long time… I’m still alive, really I am.
Ok, it won’t be long. I’ll be back soon.

What lust leads to

I should start this post with a disclaimer that this is my opinion. I am interpreting what I think was highly likely the case here. I could be wrong, but even if this particular case isn’t an example of what I’m saying, I still believe this is something that needs to be fixed before it [...]

Riding behind Urambi

Just came back from a two and half hour ride – we went out the back of Kambah, behind some mountain as well as Urambi Hills, and back into the Tuggeranong Town Centre.
It really is great riding back there, except for the fact that you continually have to dodge rocks on the dirt paths, and [...]

The most snow I have ever seen

I was sitting at the computer (where else would I be) this afternoon when I looked out the window… and I’ve never seen that much snow before!! We went outside and enjoyed it while it lasted (and took alot of photos – see the new Snow category).
Apparently it was more widespread as well, and as [...]

1 IP address

I’ve finally fallen for that “new phone” thing. Everyone seemed to have phones with cameras, polyphonic ringtones, wallpapers, loud speakers, GPRS, and all that jazz – while I was stuck with my old Nokia 3310 that cost me $250 three years ago.
But, on Saturday, I made the change. It was cheaper than I thought it’d [...]

Still here.. just busy

I wanted to try to post here more often, but this being the second post since I’ve been back in Australia means I’ve either been lazy..or busy. I’ll choose the latter, because it sounds somewhat better .
In the last two weeks I’ve been out at the office 9-5 most days, which is something I’m [...]
