Seems like AOL recently released tons of data (657k users worth) from their search engine. I haven’t had a chance to read much about it yet, or read into the data, but it’s 1) bad for those users – privacy implications, however 2) it’s pretty valuable stuff for search engine marketing. Google is at it again, with a leaked document specifying some details of “GDrive” – an unlimited online storage facility. Notes accidentally made public on Google’s website said “With infinite storage, we can house all user files, including emails, web history, pictures, bookmarks, etc and make it accessible from anywhere (any device, any platform, etc)”.
